I got this game for free because it was the app of the week lol

I was quite ready for a Mario game on Apple. I have been a fan of it for years, and was even lucky enough to play the original Mario Bros. However this is not a very good game. It lacks the finesse of the originals and of the newer games. I dont mind the $10 purchase price, but there needs to be a full mobile version for that asking price. This game would have received 3/5 stars, had it incorporated ACTUAL Mario mechanics, and not some lackluster parkour. The basis is good, but the end-product is bad. I would pay $20 to play mobile ports of Super Mario, Mario Bros. etc. If Sega can do it with Sonic, then so should Nintendo.

I cant even get past the loading screen. It crashes almost immediately after I open the game.

I would like this game more if you were able to play this game without having to pay $10. Without paying, you can only play 3 levels and 20 seconds of the 4th level. Also, you can play a bit of Toad Rally, but not much. You can only get Red Toads. On a side note, Kingdom Builder shouldnt have been in the game. There should have instead been a level creator, and you can share them with friends. On the subject of friends, friend codes REALLY shouldnt be a thing. You should just have to enter a username. Anyway, this is a good game. You can compare scores with friends, and do a ton of Toad Rally, provided you have enough Rally Tickets. Because of the $10 purchase, I feel this shouldnt be a free app to begin with.

I hope you guys add some new characters such as Wario,Boo,Daisy, Bowser jr etc.

So, I loved this game. For a good month I really like it, but soon it really... REALLY died off. This game is so utterly repetitive and theres nothing more to do besides beat the campaign (in like 30 minutes) and race friends. Idk honestly, not sure that this game is really amazing. SO NOT WORTH 10$... this game really should be free!

SMR is the first MARIO gamier to be released for iOS. This made me very eager to purchase it, this probably made other people buy it as well. I think that this game was very nostalgia driven. Thus, the producers felt that they could cut corners in the developing. The price($10) is too much for too little. Also, the story mode is very lacking. It can be beaten too easily. This said, the game is still quite fun. The "rally" mode is fun and can be played longer than the measly 30 levels of the story mode. Overall I think that the game is fun but not worth the money.

Love the game however since last update its plagued with communication error 804-1200 and constantly becomes unresponsive.

Dont download this they make you think its free and let you get into it just enough so you want to keep playing and then bam 10bucks to keep going . Cheesy!

The game is fun, and really takes me back to my childhood. The extended animation sequences really need to be shortened, or allow the user to skip them. I dont want to sit on my phone for 20 seconds watching a cartoon mushroom dance.

After a couple of months Im done with the game. It needs new levels and monsters and players. Its time for a big update. I paid $10 and it was fun but now its boring.

This game was super fun for about a week, then I went through the entire world tour and was bored. I wish they would continue to add more levels to make it worth the $10 and keep my interest.

Only worlds 1-1 throu 1-3 are free to play any thing past that cost a staggering $9.99!! The game seems really well put together and entertaining, but at that price. NO THANKS.

Save yourself time and frustration. Invest in a real Mario game and not a slapped together cash grab

One of the worst pay walls Ive ever encountered. You get 3 free levels. Enjoy your 5 minutes of gaming. Its pathetic. I would have no problem paying, But Im not going to feed the monstrosity of paywalls being a common occurrence. 1 star for you again Nintendo, hopefully this is miitomo part 2.

It would be great if the game was updated so you could play just the levels offline.

1 time pay and play mario game with replay value. I bought it for my wifes phone as well. I look forward to playing as much as I can

Do you have to spend $10 on the game or do you unlock the levels by getting the special coins?
